Question/Topic
What’s the process of transfering my membership and is there a fee if I'm moving to/from another state or province?
Answer/Article

If you're moving to/from another state or province, notify BCAA at 1-800-JOIN-CAA (1-800-564-6222) or visit your nearest BCAA location. Memberships are transferred between clubs on the membership expiry date.  Members can continue to use their BCAA membership card, until the membership expiry date, under BCAA's reciprocal agreement.

Transfer Out to another club:
When BCAA receives an address update advising that a member has moved to another club’s service area, BCAA cancel the membership on expiry and then contacts that club to provide details needed to transfer the membership.

Transfer In to BCAA from another club:
BCAA receives email notifications that there are transfer requests to our club.  BCAA does not charge the enrolment fee to transfer in membership and they retain their join year with their original club.  If the membership has been canceled for a period of longer than 90 days they are required to join as a new member unless BCAA decides to make an exception.

To contact a member specialist, call our TeleCentre toll free at 1-800-JOIN-CAA (1-800-564-6222) or visit your nearest BCAA location.
