How do I edit my jobs?

Editing Jobs:

We at CareerBuilder are always trying to make our processes as user friendly for you as possible.  With that, we know that there is a vital need to be able to edit postings as the recruiting business can be a fluid industry. Therefore, we allow for unlimited edits on every job posting!!

Step One

·         To start, simply go to ‘My Jobs’ or down to ‘View My Jobs’

Simply find the job you need to edit by typing the title in the search by field or through our Narrow by User feature and click search.  Then click directly on the title of the position.

Note: You can edit any job in your job tabs located within the ‘My Jobs’ section.  For more on this, see ‘Where’s My Job? (Job Tabs)’ in the main FAQ section.

Step Two

·         From here we want to click edit at the top of the page.

We are then taken to a page where you are free to complete any changes to your job necessary.  This page will look identical to the initial posting form. Just click continue at the bottom when finished and all edits will instantly update.

Tip: This feature is excellent for editing old jobs just before reposting.  This way the posting immediately appears as you want it to.

Still having trouble?

·         Make sure you have the proper access level to edit jobs on your account.

·         Make sure you have clicked the correct account you are trying to view.

·         For any other issues, please contact your dedicated Careerbuilder contact.  This information is available in the Contact Center on the help page.
