How Do I save my Resume Search?
We value your time and know how little of it there seems to be in a day. For that reason we’ve given you the option to save your searches and even have them emailed to you. In this section we will cover saving searches and setting up what we call RSA’s (resume search agents).
Section I- Saving a search
Step One
· After you run your search select the ‘Save this Search’ button from your list of ‘Resumes’

Step Two
· You will name your search. You can name a search whatever you would like. However, keep in mind that you would want to name it something that you will remember easily. (Typically, most employers save it under the job title they are looking for.)

Step Three
· To come back to your ’Saved Search’ you will need to go to the task bar select the ‘Resumes tab’ and then click ‘Saved Searches’.

Step Four
· From the list of searches you will select the one you want to view.

Section II – Resume Search Agent’s (RSA’s)
Resume Search Agents are a time saving feature that is unique to CareerBuilder only! A search agent is created based upon criteria you enter when searching for search agents. A search agent is saved and then set to run again the Database and any candidates found matching your search criteria are then sent via e-mail to you. Let CareerBuilder do the work for you by creating these.
Step One
· Once you have run your Resume Search you will be given the option to save your search and Step 2 Optional is where you would select the frequency of how you want to receive your e-mails.

Why is my RSA not working?
Your RSA may not be working because there may have not been any resumes added to the site that match your search criteria or edited to match your criteria. So even if you have the frequency set to run daily you may not receive resumes daily.
Your Resume search agent might not be set to run. You can check this simply by going to the Resumes tab and selecting saved searched to view if your search is set to run. If you see that your search agent is set to run and you haven’t received any e-mails in a while contact your Account Manager who can provide you with more assistance.
Still having trouble?
· Ensure that your RSA’s are set to actively email to you and your email isn’t sending these emails to the junk folder.
