How do I use BrandBuilders?

The BrandBuilder, or Company Profile, will place a logo at the top of your posting and allow job seekers to click and view all about your company and what is attractive about you as an employer.  It is a great way to extend marketing efforts directly onto your job postings with CareerBuilder.

This tutorial will be broken into 3 sections. The first section will show you how to find and edit your BrandBuilders on your account. It will also include what some of the BrandBuilder sections mean.  The second section will explain how to attach the brandbuilder to postings, new or existing.  The third section will show you how to attach or detach a BrandBuilder to multiple positions at the same time.

Section I – Editing / Creating your Brandbuilder

Step One

·         To edit or creat a new BrandBuilder, click on ‘Account Tools' and select 'BrandBuilder from the left hand side.

Step Two

·         Select the BrandBuilder that you wish to edit or click 'Add a BrandBuilder' at the top.

Step Three

·         Click the Edit this BrandBuilder link to change content in the BrandBuilder, or to change the images on your BrandBuilder, click Edit all these images.

The below information will outline the details of editing a BrandBuilder, both content and images.  For additional questions and help, please contact us.

Edit this BrandBuilder

You may choose whether the profile is accessible via the “Search By Company” feature. A company might not wish to have their profile appear if it has either not been approved yet or is being linked to another profile on the website.

The next section is “Contact Information.” This provides information to identify the profile, link it into outside resources (such as a website or video profile), and provides a contact name in case CareerBuilder.com has any questions about the profile content. Again, any required information appears with a red asterisks.

“Quick Look Info” provides the information that will appear in the “Quick Look” box in the left margin of the profile. No fields in this area are required. If an area is not filled out, it will simply not appear on the completed profile.

“The Detailed Information” builds the actual content into the profile. Several pages are available. Like the “Quick Look” area, if a page is not populated it will not appear as empty – it will simply not appear.

When finished, simply click the “Save” button at the bottom of the screen.

Still having trouble?

·         Make sure you have Brandbuilder access on your account or you will be unable to edit Brandbuilders.  However, you can still attach it with access to posting / editing jobs.  For information on viewing which access you have, please see the section on managing access for users.
