1.) Click on the “Forgot password?” link located within the Orange and Yellow colored box on your normal “Sign in” page.  Clicking this link will take you to the Password Reset page. 

2.) On the Password Reset page under section 1, input your email address that you have registered with CareerBuilder.com; hit the “Submit” button.

You will see a confirmation box that an email has been sent to the email address you provided. This email will include your “Password Reset Key.”

Note: Keep the Password Reset page open and available, as you will be coming back to it to complete upcoming steps!

3.) Check your email for a message from CareerBuilder with the “Password Reset Key.”

4.) Copy your "Password Reset Key" from the email (highlight it, then either Right-click your mouse and choose Copy or press the CTRL + C or Command-C keys) and then go back to the open Password Reset page.

Note: Password Reset Keys are only valid for 72 hours after they have been sent from CareerBuilder.com

5.) On the Password Reset page under section 2, paste your "Password Reset Key" into the "Password Reset Key" box; hit the "Submit" button.

6.) You will then be able to put in a brand new password on the “Change Password” page. Please enter this information in twice and click “Update”. 

You will see confirmation that the password was successfully reset. 

7.) Click on “Click here to continue>>” to be taken to your account.
