We recommend always going through the basic steps of deleting your cache (temporary internet files) and cookies as it solves most of the problems that users experience on our site. Also, clearing your cache can significantly improve the speed and performance of your browser.

How do you know you're experiencing cache and cookies issues? Here are some symptoms (but not all):

You click on a button/link and you are taken back to the exact same page (experiencing a constant loop)  or the page doesn't move or refresh at all.
You click on a button/link and you are taken to a blank page.
So how do you solve this? That depends on what browser you are using.

CareerBuilder currently supports the following browsers:

Internet Explorer 8 - 11
Google Chrome 32
Mozilla Firefox 27

To clear your cookies and cache (temporary internet files) for either of these browsers, please follow the below instructions:

Internet Explorer

Select Tools (Gear Icon) at top right corner. Select Internet Options from the dropdown.



On the Internet Options dialog window select Delete under Browsing History.


 
In the Delete Browsing History dialog box, click to clear all of the check boxes except Preserve Favorites website data and then click Delete.



The Internet Options dialog window will now open again.  Select OK.
Restart your browser for the changes to go into effect.
 

Chrome

Select Customize and Control Google Chrome (Three Orange Bars) at top right corner of page.



Click on History.
Select Clear browsing data... button.


On Clear browsing data dialog window select Clear browsing data.
Restart your browser for the changes to go into effect.


Mozilla Firefox

Select Firefox button at the top right corner of window.  Go over to History menu and select Clear Recent History.



On the Clear Recent History dialog window set time range to Everything.  Click on Details to expand the list of history items.
Select Cookies and make sure that other items you want to keep are not selected.
Click Clear Now to clear the cookies and close the Clear Recent History window.


Restart your browser for the changes to go into effect.
