Both PDF and JPEG formats are supported by ScanSnap!  To access the PDF format do the following:

·         Right click on the ScanSnap! icon in the system tray.

·         Select setting then click on the scanning tab and go down to the color mode box.

·         Now select either B/W (black and white) or Auto Color Detection.

·         Next go to the file option box - PDF will be the only option listed.

·         Afterwards click on the application tab, select Adobe Acrobat, and click ok.

Special note: If you do not see the Application tab then click on cancel, right click on the Scansnap icon in the system tray again and left click on Use Quick Menu to deselect it; then do steps listed above again. 

·         Lastly press the simplex or duplex button on the scanner.

To access the JPEG format do the following:

·         Right click on the ScanSnap! icon in the system tray.

·         Select setting then click on the scanning tab and go down to the color mode box.

·         Now select Color.

·         Next go to the file option box and select JPEG.

·         Afterwards click on the application tab, select Scandall21 or your JPEG application, and click ok.

Special note: If you do not see the Application tab then click on cancel, right click on the Scansnap icon in the system tray again and left click on Use Quick Menu to deselect it; then do steps listed above again. 

·         Lastly press the simplex or duplex button on the scanner.
