in the Coats 4 Kids 2021 Campaign

	SPOKANE, WA (October 01, 2021) – Global Credit Union partners with local news station KXLY 4 News Now and kick-offs the 2021 Coats 4 Kids campaign to collect new and gently used coats for local children in need. Coats and monetary donations were collected at all nine stateside Global Credit Union branches throughout the month of October 2020.  Over 200 coats collected means over 200 kids will be sporting a new winter coat to stay warm this winter. In addition to the coats, Global presented a check to 4 News Now to continue to spread the warmth. "This year will be Global Credit Union’s fourth consecutive year as a Coats 4 Kids supporting sponsor," said Global Credit Union Chief Operating Officer, Mary Starkey. "Thank you everyone who donated coats to Coats 4 Kids this year. We appreciate all the helping hands in keeping our community cared for and warm this winter." With the intent to collect the most coats possible, Global Credit Union employees were tasked with an internal company wide competition; the branch/department to collect the most coats by the end of the collection period were awarded a prize along with company wide recognition for their efforts.
