Question/Topic
Who can become a member of JAXFCU?
Answer/Article

If you fall within one of the following categories, you qualify for membership:

  • You live, work, worship or learn in Duval, St. Johns, Clay, Baker, or Nassau County.
  • You are an immediate family members of any current JAXFCU member. (Immediate family members include a spouse, child, sibling, parent, grandparent, grandchild, stepparent, stepchild, stepsiblings or adoptive relationship.)
  • You are an employee of one of our 325 Select Employee Groups (SEG) in Duval, St. Johns, Clay, Baker or Nassau County.

Note:  Once you join JAXFCU, your membership will continue regardless of employment changes or if you move out of the area.

If you meet any of those requirements and would like to fill out an application to become a member select the link below to our Membership Application.  You can also establish your membership by calling (904) 475-8000 or toll free (800) 443-2664, in person at any of our branches, or online at www.jaxfcu.org.

We need three things to establish your credit union membership for you:

1. A completed membership application.
2. A copy of your ID - we accept the following forms of ID:  U.S. Drivers License, Florida State ID Card, or U.S. Military ID.
3. Open a regular savings account with an initial deposit of $10.00 (a $5.00 membership fee and $5.00 minimum balance in a regular savings account).
