What is the process for checking the status of a pending loan?

When a loan has been pended by an underwriter, an e-mail will be sent to the e-mail address that each lender has identified at time of reservation. The email will notify the lender that Kentucky Housing Corporation's (KHC) web site has been updated and will identify the borrower’s name and the status of the account.

If the loan has been pended, you will be able to review the details by going to Lender Connection Services. Log on to KHC's Lender Loan Connection Services and click on the Underwriter Pending Items option on the Welcome Page. This option allows you to see what items the underwriter is requesting to complete the underwriting of a loan file.

When you click on this option, you will be prompted with the "Search" screen. Type in your borrower's name or reservation number. The screen will list all items that are needed.
