Question/Topic
Need more pharmacy information for the WPDP Drug Discount Card Program?
Answer/Article

To assist the uninsured residents of Washington, the Washington State Health Care Authority (HCA) is offering a new prescription drug discount card. There are no enrollment fees and all residents are eligible for the discount card regardless of age or income.

The HCA has contracted with ODS Companies and its PBM partner MedImpact to provide the new prescription drug discount card to all Washington residents effective February 1, 2007.  MedImpact is seeking Washington retail pharmacies to participate in the Washington Prescription Drug Program (WPDP) discount card network.

Participation in the WPDP discount card network is voluntary and is distinct from any participation in MedImpact's existing commercial pharmacy network in Washington.

If you are interested in signing up as a participating WPDP discount card pharmacy, or would like additional information, there are two ways to contact MedImpact:

IMPORTANT: Please indicate that you are specifically interested in the WPDP discount card program.

MedImpact will provide you with the appropriate information within two (2) business days.
