Seattle Metropolitan Credit Union (SMCU) provides financial services to anyone who lives or works in the state of Washington including the following groups:

• Employees of the City of Seattle
• Persons who are employed by eligible Select Employee Groups
• Everyone related to a current member by blood, adoption, or marriage, regardless of where she/he lives, including domestic partners

"Once a Member, always a Member." Once a person joins the credit union, he/she may remain a Member for life, even if his/her relationship to a qualifying organization changes.
