Yes, Monterra Credit Union offers Real-Time Debit Card Fraud Alerts.    
  • If Monterra Credit Union has your cell phone number or email address, and we spot a purchase that looks suspicious, we'll send you a message right away -- at any time of the day.  
  • When you receive a text or email alert, simply reply "Yes" or "No" Yes = you made the purchase; your card will be unblocked and become available for use.  No = you do not recognize the purchase; additional transactions on your card will be blocked until we call your primary phone between the hours of 8:00 am and 9:00 pm PST to discuss options and next steps. 
  • If you can't be reached by text or email (or we don't receive a fast reply) we'll call your primary phone number between the hours of 8:00 am and 9:00 pm.
