Question/Topic
How can I get better search results?
Answer/Article

We have recently updated our search engine to use search technology similar to Google.com so we can bring you the most relevant results. To receive better results on Sologig, please refer to the following tips:

1.  To search for an exact phrase, keywords must have quotation marks around the phrase. For example, to search for postings containing the exact phrase “customer service representative”, you can type the exact phrase, within quotation marks, as your search criteria.

2.  In order to eliminate certain words from your search, you can use the “-“ symbol with no space before the word that you would like to exclude. For example, if you do not want company “ACME” to show up in your search results, you can use the following words: -ACME. This will eliminate any job postings that contain the word “ACME” from responding to your search.

3.  To include certain words in your search, put a '+' sign in front of the word. (Be sure to include a space before the '+' sign). For example, if you do want company “ACME” to show up in your search results, you can use the following keywords: +ACME.
