UMR Selected to Continue as UMP Third Party Administrator (TPA) in 2010

The Heath Care Authority (HCA) decided on September 28 that UMR will continue to provide TPA services for UMP through 2010. UMR has provided TPA service to UMP for a number of years.

As a result, no significant changes are expected for the UMP network in 2010. HCA will continue to contract with Washington professional providers and hospitals and UMR will continue to provide the out-of-state network through a contract with Beech Street.
