How do I order a free copy of my credit report?
Starting December 1, 2004, Northwest residents will be able to get a free copy of their credit report once a year.  Consumers can request a free copy of their consolidated credit report from the three major credit bureaus by doing one of the following:

Register online:       www.annualcreditreport.com
Call:                        877-322-8228
Or write to:             Annual Credit Report Request Service
                               P.O. Box 105281
                               Atlanta, GA  30348-5281

Consumers should be prepared to provide the following information in their request:  Name, address, social security number, date of birth and other information to confirm their identity.  The report will be mailed within 15 days.

Residents of the 12 Western States (including Washington) are eligible to participate first.  Consumers in the remainder of the United States will be able to access their credit report in stages over the next twelve months.
