When you purchase a Classic membership, you would be able to call for Roadside Assistance immediately; however, if you are upgrading your membership to a different plan, the Roadside Assistance benefits for the upgraded plan will become effective 3 days after payment in full has been processed.  Therefore, if you upgraded to Plus or Premier on the 15th of the month, the Plus or Premier benefits would not be in effect until the 18th.
 
Since the Roadside Assistance benefits for the upgrade do not take effect for 3 days, you will still be able to use your current plan’s Roadside Assistance benefits.  For example:
  • If you upgrade from Classic to Plus or Premier, the Plus or Premier Roadside Assistance benefits become effective 3 days after payment in full has been processed; however, if needed, you will be able to use the Classic Roadside Assistance benefits for those 3 days. 
  • If you upgrade from Plus to Premier, the Premier Roadside Assistance benefits become effective 3 days after payment in full has been processed; however, if needed, you will be able to use the Plus Roadside Assistance benefits for those 3 days.
