There are three types of non-sufficient funds (NSF) fees:

Writing a check
  • If you write a paper or electronic check and do not have enough funds in your checking account to cover it  you will be charged an NSF fee of $25. In addition, you may be charged a returned check fee from the vendor or bank you wrote the check to.
Depositing a check
  • If you deposit a check into your account that does not have enough funds to redeem it you will be charged an NSF fee of $12.
Courtesy Pay
  • If you have courtesy pay -  an overdraft protection service -  you will be charged an NSF fee of $25 for each check covered. Advantis reserves the right to refuse to pay any transaction that may draw on insufficient funds.
