To make a deposit with your mobile device, complete the following steps:
  1. Tap the Menu icon on the mobile app or mobile site to view all of the Mobile App options.
  2. Select Mobile Deposit.
  3. Choose the account you want to deposit your check in.
  4. Enter the dollar amount of the check.
  5. Tap Add Front of Check to take a picture of the front your check.
  6. Center the camera on the center of the check and tap the screen to take a picture.
  7. Click Use once the image is clearly readable, or Retake to start over.
  8. Make sure you have signed the back of your check and repeat the process for taking an image of the back of the check.
  9. Review both front and back images and tap Deposit Check at the bottom of the screen.
  10. You will receive a deposit confirmation once it has been completed.
Before you snap a picture of your check, here are some key reminders about mobile deposits:
  1. All checks must be properly endorsed. Unsigned checks will not be deposited.
  2. Make sure the check is not stale-dated (typically over 6 months old), dated in the future, from a foreign country, or in foreign currency.
  3. Use a background that creates contrast when taking a picture of the check.
  4. Take a picture in a well-lit place.
  5. Make sure the check is flat (not folded or torn) and all the numbers on the bottom of the check are clearly readable.
  6. Make sure your fingers are not in the check image.
  7. Add "For Mobile Deposit" to the back of the check below your signed name.
  8. Keep the physical check for 45 days, then securely destroy it.
