Unfortunately, all Dream For All funds have been allocated, and the legislature has not allocated any new funding for the program for 2025. Since there is no funding for the program, there is not currently any wait list or application.

We offer several loan programs for first-time homebuyers, although none with the 20% down payment loan. I’d suggest you chat with one of our Preferred Loan Officers—if you’re interested in buying your first home, they’ll get you started right. Here’s our list, searchable by county:

CalHFA does not lend money directly to consumers. CalHFA works through and uses approved private lenders to qualify consumers and to make all mortgage loans. CalHFA purchases closed loans that meet CalHFA's requirements. The fees consumers pay could be different depending on the lender and the program.
