Thomas Pauley is a veteran of 27 years with the United States Marine Corps and Air Force. He completed his military service as the 92nd Bomb Wing Senior Enlisted Advisor at Fairchild Air Force Base. Mr. Pauley served on Global Credit Union's Board of Directors from February 1990 to July 1992. He returned to the board in 1995 and is still serving in that capacity. Mr. Pauley has served on several of Global's committees over the years. He is a graduate of Eastern Washington University. He is retired from Zak Designs in Airway Heights. He is Life member of VFW Post 1435. Tom is active in the community as a volunteer or financial supporter for the Spokane Humane Society, SCRAPS & numerous Children’s charities. He has been married to his wife Sandy for 52 years.
 

Jack L. Fallis, Jr.

Jack Fallis is the President/CEO and Board Treasurer for Global Credit Union, where he has been employed since November 1985. Along with his duties at Global, Mr. Fallis is the Secretary and a board member for the Defense Credit Union Council, where he serves as the Chairman of the Military Advocacy Committee. He is the past Chairman of the Board for the Northwest Credit Union Association, past Chairman of the Spokane Public Library Board of Trustees, a graduate of Leadership Spokane, and a past Trustee for Greater Spokane Incorporated. He also served as a President of the Eastern Washington University (EWU) Alumni Association and is a past member of the EWU Foundation. Mr. Fallis is the past Chairman of the Board of Trustees for Leadership Spokane and former member of the Credit Union Advisory Council for the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB). He earned an MBA from the University of Washington and a BA in Finance from Eastern Washington University. He is a graduate and Certified Chief Executive of the Credit Union Executives Society CEO Institute and a graduate of the Pacific Coast Banking School. Mr. Fallis supports and is active in many charitable organizations including the Children's Miracle Network, Credit Unions for Kids, and the Rypien Foundation. Mr. Fallis is a a life-long resident of Spokane, Washington.

 

  Hal L. Westbrook

A member of our credit union since 1986, Hal Westbrook currently serves as the Washington Office Administrator for the accounting firm of Eide Bailly, LLP.  In this role, Hal oversees client service, administrative, business and personnel functions for more than 80 partners and staff members in Spokane, Washington and Enterprise, Oregon.  Prior to joining Eide Bailly, Hal served for 30 years as an officer in the Active Duty Air Force and the Washington Air National Guard.  During his military career, he held leadership positions including Executive Officer, Chief of Wing Plans, Logistics Readiness Squadron Commander, Maintenance Group Commander, Mission Support Group Commander, FEMA Region X Homeland Response Force Deputy Commander, and Vice Wing Commander.  A Master Navigator, he is proud to have flown as a crew member on B-52, KC-135, and RC-26 aircraft and has deployed many times throughout his career in support of a wide range of worldwide and domestic operations.  Hal is a graduate of Willamette University in Salem, Oregon where he majored in English Literature, served as the president of his fraternity, played rugby, and was active in theatre.  He and his wife live on a farm where they raise and train Welsh Cobs for equestrian competition.

Marc Hughes received his BA in Education from Central Washington University in 1992. Currently, he is the Farmers Agent in Cheney, WA where he resides with his wife Tricia and two Daughters. Prior to owning his own business Marc was with Eastern Washington University Athletics for 20 years. He services as the Deputy Athletic Director, Associate Athletic Director for Development/Director of Golf, and Head Men's and Women's Golf Coaching during his tenure. In his spare time Marc enjoys playing golf, skiing and making music.

 
Joe Tortorelli

Joe M. Tortorelli is founder and a principal in Economic Development Northwest, a business development consulting firm with clients throughout the Inland Northwest. He has more than 30 years' experience in business and economic development with Avista Corporation of Spokane creating programs designed to recruit new business to the region. He graduated in 1972 with a degree in business administration from Eastern Washington University and received further training and education from the International Economic Development Council (IEDC). He was accredited as a Certified Economic Developer from the IEDC in 1992. He served for more than 26 years with the Washington Air National Guard and retired as a Lieutenant Colonel. He is a business development consultant for a couple of inland northwest cities and is the Secretary/Executive Director of the Spokane Area Good Roads Association.  In 2011 he was appointed to the Washington Transportation Commission representing Spokane and eastern Washington.  He has two sons that are married and enjoys skiing and cycling.

 
 Rona Ritchie

Rona Ritchie is an Aircraft Maintenance Officer and a Member of the Washington Air National Guard for more than 24 years stationed at Fairchild AFB. Rona spent 11 years enlisted before commissioning as an Officer and worked in aircraft maintenance and financial management. As an officer she has served as Logistics Readiness Operations Officer and Wing Executive Officer.  She has lived in the Spokane area for over 45 years and attended East Valley High School. She completed three degrees through the Community Colleges of the Air Force, earned a BS in Social Psychology from Park University, and a M.Ed. Administrative Leadership from Whitworth University. She has been married to her husband Dan for 19 years and they have three children and five grandchildren. In her free time she enjoys education in fitness and nutrition, gardening, and serving her community as a board member.

 

 Mick R. Busch

Mick Busch is a retiree from CUNA Mutual Insurance Group (CMG). During his 40 years of service at CMG, he earned many awards and recognition as one of their top sales executives. Mr. Busch has a thorough understanding of the credit union industry, thoughtful analysis skills, and a collegial manner displayed during his time at CMG. His knowledge of insurance will serve as an excellent benefit for future credit union insurance products. Mick is a graduate of the University of Northern Colorado with degrees in Chemistry and Biology. He was a successful college athlete running track and playing football. Mr. Busch’s athletic success led him to be asked to try out for the famed Dallas Cowboys. Mick and his wife Melissa enjoy many outdoor activities like hiking, golf, and riding their Harley Davidson motorcycles.

Travis W. Pettyjohn

Travis Pettyjohn is a CPA who currently works for Itron, Inc. in Liberty Lake as the Director - Global Close and Reporting, and North American Controller.  Prior to his work with Itron, he led the credit union practice for a regional accounting firm.  As the leader of the credit union group, Travis specialized in audit and consulting engagements for credit unions. Travis earned his undergraduate degree followed by his Master of Accounting Degree from Washington State University while working as a teaching assistant in the College of Business.  



 
Robert K. Mitchell

Bob Mitchell earned his BA in Accounting and Finance in 1972 from Central Washington University. After graduating, he came to work for Global Federal Credit Union for 3 years in the Accounting Department working with accounts payable, foreign branch accounting, and payroll processing. After leaving GFCU, Bob began his career in the education industry with the Educational Service District 101 where he worked as an Accountant supervising the business office for 6 years. He then went to work for Central Valley School District for 19 years where he supervised operations of the business office and held Accounting duties ranging from preparing financial statements and budgets to managing financial aspects of grants and construction contracts. In 2003, Bob started work with the Cle Elum/Roslyn School District where he supervised, coordinated, and informed staff, board members, and the community about financial matters of the school district for 3 years. He then moved to the Newport School District in 2006 where he performed the same duties for the next 4 years. Bob has been a member of the Washington Association of School Business Officials for 29 years and the Washington Association of School Administrators for 12 years. He serves as Committee Chairman for Ledger Run when WASBO meets in Spokane. He is a 4th year participant in Project Leadership through WASA. Bob is also the District Committee Chairman for procurement card system and the Administrative Building Representative for the United Way. He served as Committee Chairman of Boy Scout Troop#71 for 6 years and was Cub Master of Cub Scout Pack #210 for 3 years.

 

Michael T. Hart

Michael Hart was born in Spokane, Washington. He graduated from Lewis and Clark High School. Advanced educational achievements include an Associate of Arts Degree and a Bachelor’s Degree in Business from Eastern Washington University majoring in Finance and Management Information Systems. He has been married to his wife for 23 years and they have three children.

Lisa Sanborn

Lisa Sanborn, CPA, earned her BA in Accounting at Eastern Washington University while working as an accountant for a local company. Lisa’s experience working with credit unions began when she joined a large regional public accounting firm where she served bank and credit union clients as well as clients in leasing, telecommunications, not-for-profit, and other industries for 12 years. After leaving public accounting, Lisa worked at two locally headquartered financial institutions in both Corporate Accounting and Internal Audit. She currently works as the Vice President of Corporate Accounting at a hotel management company in Spokane, WA. Lisa has served as an officer of the local chapter of the Institute of Internal Auditors and has currently volunteered as a member of the Board of Directors and Finance Committee for various local non-profit organizations.

 

Nick Brown

Nick Brown is the President of Thin Technologies, a national information technology consultancy.  He has spent the last 20 years as an entrepreneur building various businesses and has integrated complex technology solutions for DoD, Fortune 500, Healthcare and Banking sectors.  Along with his wife and children, Mr. Brown and his family enjoy travel and the outdoors.
