Online Banking – Internet Explorer 11 (IE11) support will be phased out

Effective April 7, 2020, Online Banking will no longer support Internet Explorer 11 (IE11) as an accepted browser, due to Microsoft’s timing for ending extended support, including security updates for Windows 7.   Members using IE11 will start to see notifications in Online Banking starting on September 3, 2019, letting them know they will need to update their browser.

The supported browsers will be Google Chrome (recommended), Mozilla Firefox or Microsoft Edge.  Mac users will still be able to use a Safari browser.

  1. September 3, 2019 – After logging in using IE11, Members will start to see a notification bar at the top of the Home screen, letting them know they are using a browser that will soon be unsupported, suggesting they switch to another browser.
  2. January 7, 2020 – Before logging in using IE11, Members will start to see a full page “soft block” notification that will let them know they are using a browser that will soon be unsupported, and will suggest alternate browsers.  They will have an option to continue to online banking without changing their browser.
  3. April 7, 2020 – Members using IE11 will be presented the same “soft block” page as before, but, this time without an option to bypass it.  They will be required to change to a supported browser.
