You may place a stop payment on an ACH (electronic) withdrawal up to 3 days prior to the date the withdrawal is scheduled to occur. To place a stop payment, contact our Member Service Center at 1 (800) 479-7928 or visit any RCU location. Please note that placing a stop payment does not affect any contractual obligations you may have to the company that is making the withdrawal. For example, if you entered into a one-year gym membership, but decide to cancel your Membership, placing a stop payment on the electronic withdrawal will simply stop the payment -- it will not cancel the gym membership.
