What is an Overdraft Line of Credit?

An Overdraft Line of Credit is a loan you may access when you do not have sufficient funds in your checking account. If you have an Overdraft Line of Credit and you are in a situation in which you do not have sufficient funds in your checking account to pay a transaction, additional funds will automatically be advanced in $100 increments to your checking account from the line of credit up to the established credit limit. Because this is a loan, daily interest is charged on the outstanding balance. If there is no balance, no interest or fees are assessed.
