Redwood Credit Union does not charge a fee when your transactions are rejected due to Regulation D. However, there are situations where you could experience fees that are related to reaching your Regulation D limit:

  • If you do not have sufficient funds in your checking account to pay a check or automatic withdrawal and an overdraft protection transfer cannot take place because you have reached the Regulation D limit, you will be charged a non-sufficient fund fee.
  • If an automatic withdrawal is rejected on your savings or money market because you have reached the Regulation D limit, you may be charged a fee by the company that you initiated the automatic withdrawal with.
