How can I view or get a copy of a check in online banking?

Select the account where you have a check deposit or withdrawal from the summary page.

Look for the check transaction and click the "View Check" link just below the check number on the transaction detail. You can print a free copy of any check that has cleared an account in the past two years.

A pop-up window will open displaying the front and back of the cleared check.

Any check that cleared before the two years (but no older than 7 years) or any deposited check (up to 5 years) can be requested through any branch or by calling our Member Service Center at 1 (800) 479-7928. There is a small fee for this service.

In general, once a request for a copy has been made, the turn around time is one full business day. As an example, if the request is submitted on a Tuesday it would be fulfilled by the close of business Wednesday and if submitted on a Friday then it would be fulfilled by close of business Monday.  Fulfilled means the copy will be retrieved and sent to the Member through the method specified in the request. Actual receipt of the copy will depend on the way the copy is delivered. Some restrictions may apply such as larger quantities, or shared branch deposits which take longer to retrieve the copies.

Redwood Credit Union (RCU) offers Members valuable products and services with no or low fees. For select products and services, some fees are assessed as a cost recovery. See our Cost Recovery Schedules for Personal Accounts and Business Accounts for details.
