Is it safe to use RCU ATMs?

Redwood Credit Union’s ATMs do not use OpenSSL and are not affected by the Heartbleed Bug. RCU’s ATMs are on a closed, secure network and are not susceptible to the vulnerabilities of ATMs directly connected to the Internet (generally found in foreign countries).

A recent news article suggested that ATMs running Windows XP may be vulnerable to attacks. RCU has worked directly with the manufacturer to ensure that our systems remain protected, supported and safe for our Members to use.
