Information on PBI Research Services Cybersecurity Incident

PBI has notified clients and individuals impacted by a vulnerability in their MOVEit Transfer Application, which allowed data to be downloaded by an unauthorized third party. This data contained personal information including: first and last name; date of birth; and Social Security number; and potentially names of former or current employers, spouses or domestic partners, and children. PBI has confirmed that it has resolved the vulnerability, and put additional security measures in place.

What you need to know:

• Redwood Credit Union’s website and digital banking systems remain secure and were not affected.
• You may have received a letter with a suggestion to monitor or freeze your credit. We encourage you to follow their recommendations. If you have questions, please call our Wealth Management team at (707) 576-5040.
• As always, be vigilant in reviewing all account statements and credit reports, and contact us immediately if you find any unauthorized activity on your RCU accounts.
