How current is the balance shown?
Account information is current at the time of login. We display your available balance and your current balance including pending transactions.
Available Balance
Your available balance is the amount of money in your account to which you have immediate access. Visa Debit card transactions and check holds can affect your available balance.
Some examples are:
- Merchant holds are placed when you use your Visa debit card as a Visa transaction or Point of Sale (POS) transaction.
- Check holds will affect your balance and decrease the amount available to use with purchases, withdrawals, checks or ATM transactions.
Current Balance
The current balance is the total balance that is in your account, this may include transactions that are in process and have not cleared your account such as checks, Visa debit card transactions or Electronic transfers.
