I filed bankruptcy but am paying on my car loan. Can I get loan coupons sent to me?

Because of the statutory requirements in the Bankruptcy Code, RCU does not send coupons once a Member files bankruptcy. After the bankruptcy discharges, a Member may request coupons for their loan. The Member must submit the request in writing and include language such as,

“I (Member’s name), request to have coupons sent to me for (account# - loan#).  I understand that RCU is not attempting to collect a debt by fulfilling this request.  Further, I understand that I can cancel this request at any time via written communication” (or similar language). 

All Members on the loan who have filed for bankruptcy must sign the request.
