• Initial Requirements and Initial Rating Adjustment: When you enroll in the AAADrive Usage Based Insurance (“UBI”) Program, an initial enrollment rating classification is applied to your auto policy. To maintain this initial score enrollment rating classification you must download, register, and start sharing your AAADrive driving data by completing at least 1 trip and 5 miles within 15 days of enrollment.
  • Data Requirements for Calculating a UBI Score: For your AAADrive driving data to be used to calculate a UBI Score, you must record at least 5 trips and 400 miles over the past 91 days.
  • Policy Renewal AAADrive Household UBI Score: At your policy renewal, if at least one driver meets the AAADrive driving data requirements for renewal evaluation, a AAADrive Household UBI Score will be generated based on the average UBI Score of all AAADrive participants in your household. This score will then be applied as a rating factor to your auto insurance policy.
  • Premium Impact: The AAADrive Household UBI Score will be applied as a rating factor to your policy. This could either increase or decrease your auto policy premium.
