A trusted contact is a person you designate that Monterra may contact if we are unable to reach you or need assistance verifying your well-being. This individual should be someone you trust, knows you well, and is at least 18 years old.
Important: A trusted contact does not have access to your account and cannot:
- View balances or transactions
- Move money
- Make decisions or act on your behalf
We may contact your trusted contact if:
- We cannot reach you
- We identify potential fraud or unusual activity
- You are traveling or otherwise difficult to contact
- An emergency or health-related situation arises
