To create a folder upload ShareLink
  • Locate the folder you want to share
  • Click on the caret action icon to the right of the folder
  • Click "Share"
  • A Create Share for Folder modal will appear to select options and create the ShareLink
 
  • Share Name:
    • The default name will show as - Share for folder: (folder name inserted here)
    • If you wish to change the name simply enter the desired name of your ShareLink in the text box 
    • If you edit the share name and then select a different Share Direction, the Share Name will change to the 'share direction' folder share default name​​​​​​​
  • Share Direction:
    • Download - Recipients will only be allowed to download items from the shared folder
    • Upload - Recipients will only be allowed to upload items into the shared folder
    • Collaboration - Recipients will be allowed to perform uploads and downloads in the shared folder
  • ShareLink Options:
    • One-Time
      • After the share link has been accessed and an upload has taken place the link will become invalid unless the expiration date is reached first (if one is set)
    • Multiple
      • The ShareLink may be accessed multiple times and uploads into the folder can happen multiple times until the expiration date is reached (if one is set)
  • Pin Code (Optional/Required based on organization settings):
    • This feature allows you to place a Pin Code on the ShareLink that the recipient(s) will need to know in order to gain access
      • It is recommended to send the recipient(s) the pin code in a separate email
  • Expiration Date (Optional/Required based on organization settings):
    • This feature allows you to set the number of days the ShareLink will be available for the recipient(s) to access and upload into the shared folder.  After the date selected the ShareLink will no longer be valid and the folder will no longer be available to access for upload
  • Once the information and additional options have been completed click the "Create Share" button and an active ShareLink will be created and your new ShareLink will be displayed
  • After creating the ShareLink you can send it to the desired recipient(s) by either:
    • Clicking on the Send via Email icon to add it directly to an email body in your default email client
    • Copying the URL from the text box then pasting the link into your preferred medium
  • Once the ShareLink creation has been completed click "Return to Files"
  • A ShareLink indicator icon will appear to the right of the folder.  Clicking on this icon will bring up the share modal.
  • The share will also be listed under Manage Shared Items.  Click on Manage Shared Items, then click on My Share Links


If you set file restrictions, the file types selected will not be allowed for upload into the shared folder
