California Consumer Privacy Act of 2018 (CCPA)
The State of California has enacted "The California Consumer Privacy Act of 2018" ("CCPA") in response to consumers' desire for privacy and more control over their personal information. The CCPA ensures (1) the right of California consumers to know what personal information is being collected about them; (2) the right of Californians to know whether their personal information is sold or disclosed and to whom; (3) the right of Californians to say no to the sale of personal information; (4) the right of Californians to access their personal information; and (5) the right of Californians to equal service and price, even if they exercise their privacy and rights.
While Virtual StrongBox is currently exempt from the CCPA's new regulation, we fully meet the compliance requirements of the CCPA. We do not sell or share personal information in our system for Californians or any other user.
We honor the CCPA and GDPR Regulations' "right to be forgotten" at all times.
