To add multi-factor authentication to your login (if enabled by your service provider) ​​​​​​

There are 3 multi-factor authentication choices available with our platform: Text, Voice, and Time-Based Authentication

We recommend authenticating with a Time-based One-Time Password (TOTP) mobile application. This application automatically generates an authentication code that changes after a certain period of time. TOTP mobile applications provide a six-digit number that users must provide in order to log in.  The Google Authenticator Mobile App is an example of this type of application.
 
  • To set up Time-Based Authentication          
    • Make sure you have an Authentication App on your mobile device (Google or Microsoft authentication apps work well)
    • Sign in to your digital vault
    • Select "My Profile" on the left-hand menu
    • Select "Login Security" from the menu choices displayed on the screen
    • Select "Time-Based Authentication" from the drop-down menu
    • Launch the authenticator application on your mobile device and select to add an account.
    • Choose "Scan a barcode" and scan the QR code that is shown on the screen with your mobile device.
    • Once the authenticator account is ready, enter the code presented on your mobile device and select to validate
    • Once the authenticator has a valid status click Update
In order for the Text (SMS) or Voice option to be available, your phone number must have a 'Verified' status in the system
  • To set up text or voice MFA
    • Sign in to your digital vault
    • Select "My Profile" on the left-hand menu
    • Select "Login Security" from the menu choices displayed on the screen
    • Click the Update Phone Number profile setting
    • Enter your phone number into the text field and click Update
    • Click Send Verification Code
    • A prompt will appear to select a verification method
    • Select the verification method and click Send Code
    • Enter the received verification code and click Confirm
    • A success message will appear in the upper right corner of the screen
After getting your phone number verified the text (SMS) and voice options will be available as choices for Login Security
  • Select "Text (SMS)" or "Voice" from the drop-down menu
  • Click "Update" to record your MFA choice
  • A success message will appear in the upper right corner of the screen
