To create an upload folder ShareLink that can be used in your email signature line

Step 1 - Create the Upload Folder ShareLink
  • Locate the folder you want to share
  • Click on the ellipsis menu to the right of the folder
  • Click "Share"
  • A Create External Share for Folder modal will appear to select options and create the ShareLink
    • Share Name:
      • The default name will show as - Share for folder: (file name inserted here)
      • If you wish to change the name enter the desired name of your ShareLink in the text box
    • Include Subfolders? - Choose No
      • It is recommended that you do not choose a folder that contains sub-folders as the one that will be used in the email signature line.
    • ShareLink Options - Choose Multiple
      • This will allow external users to access and perform uploads into the folder multiple times
    • Do not add an Expiration Date
    • Do not add a PIN Code
  • Once the information and additional options have been completed, click the "Create" button, and an active ShareLlink will be created.
  • After creating the ShareLink copy the ShareLink URL by:
    • Clicking on the Copy to Clipboard icon
    • Copying the URL from the text box

Step 2 - Create the link in the Email signature (Based on Microsoft Outlook)
  • Access your Microsoft Outlook email
  • Click "File" from the top navigation menu
  • Click "Options"
  • In the Outlook Options modal, click "Mail" from the left navigation menu
  • Locate the Create or Modify signatures for messages option
  • Click the "Signatures" action button
  • In the Signatures and Stationery modal locate the Edit Signature area and place your cursor where you want to insert the folder link
  • Click the Insert Hyperlink action button
  • In the Insert Hyperlink modal, add the text you want displayed in your signature line for the folder share in the Text to display box
  • In the Address box enter the share link URL
  • Click "OK"
  • The link will now appear in your email signature line
  • When an email recipient clicks on the link, they will be directed to the folder share where they can then upload documents securely
    • You will receive notifications when recipients upload documents to the share folder
